Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Lake Land College is hosting its first-ever community STEM night at the Effingham Technology Center, giving community members of all ages the chance to enjoy hands-on activities with high-tech educational equipment.
The Lake Land College community STEM night will be held on Wednesday, August 5 from 5-7 p.m. The event will focus on video game development, with in-depth instruction and demonstration led by Lake Land College staff.
All attendees will also get to practice coding and design their very own video games. Attendees can also bring a flash drive to save and take home their games.
The event will take place in the Lake Land College Innovation Center on the first floor of the Effingham Technology Center. Registration is not required to attend the event.
