July 18, 2026

  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Zikee N. Townsend of Chicago for driving while license suspended. Zikee was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Randy C. Johnson of Chicago for possession of a fictitious-altered ID Card and obstructing identification. Randy was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 21 year old Lilly E. Mathis of Effingham for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Lilly was given an NTA and was released.

July 19, 2026

  • Illinois State Police arrested 24 year old Nathaniel L. Freeman of Flora for DUI alcohol and improper lane usage. Nathaniel was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Carter A. Donaldson of Effingham for domestic battery, criminal trespass, and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Carter was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 38 year old Daniel T. Steele of Effingham for DUI alcohol and drugs, improper lane usage, and unlawful possession of cannabis by driver. Daniel was taken to the Effingham County Jail

July 20, 2026

  • Illinois State Police arrested 31 year old Melody G. Idia of Chicago for driving while license suspended and speeding. Melody was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38 year old Adam R. Reynolds of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Adam was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Illinois State Police arrested 35 year old Jordan B. Thompson of Madison, TN for driving while license suspended and speeding. Jordan was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 51 year old Jose J. Golindano of Effingham for DUI alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device. Jose was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Everett E. Elledge of Montrose for DUI alcohol, 2 counts of driving on a revoked license, and leaving the scene of an accident. Everett was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
