Public Invited To Attend Highway Dedication Ceremony August 11th

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- From the Office of Mayor Schutzbach:

On behalf of the Effingham community, it is our honor to invite you to the Dedication Ceremony for the Chief Warrant Officer 2 Christopher Donaldson Memorial Overpass and the Sgt. Timothy Sayne Memorial Overpass, honoring two local U.S. Army soldiers who gave their lives in service to our country.

By resolution of the Illinois General Assembly, the Fourth Street and Fayette Avenue overpasses at Interstates 57 and 70 now carry their names, so that every traveler passing through Effingham will know them. Please see the invitation, attached, for details.

The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Workman Sports Complex. Family, friends, dignitaries, and members of the public will gather to honor their service and stand together in remembrance. We would be honored by your presence.
