Ford Recalling Over 565K Vehicles Over Engine Compartment Fire Risk

Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- Ford is recalling over 565-thousand Broncos to fix a fire safety risk.

The recall affects certain 2021 to 2026 Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says a short circuit in the engine compartment can create heat or spark, increasing the risk of fire.

The NHTSA said as part of the recall, dealers will install sheathing over the wiring for free.
