Mattoon, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A WWII veteran from Mattoon is turning 100 this month and wants to celebrate with a card shower.
Cromwell Media’s own Samantha spoke with Mr Wayne McDowell recently.
McDowell will celebrate his 100th birthday on June 23rd.
His family is holding a card shower for McDowell’s birthday.
Cards can be sent to 901 S 15th Street, Mattoon, IL 61938.
