
Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- The FDA is investigating a multistate outbreak of salmonella linked to recalled broccoli spouts. The CDC and state partners found 22 cases of the disease in four states. Two were hospitalized for salmonella-related symptoms, but no deaths have yet been reported.
Washington has the highest number of cases, followed by Montana, Idaho and Utah.
