Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Local State Farm agents, Stephanie Gobczynski Uebinger and Leon Gobczynski, demonstrated what it means to be a Good Neighbor by helping their community. On August 16th, at 10:30AM Stephanie Gobczynski Uebinger and Leon Gobczynski will present The Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation with a $5,000 grant each from State Farm®. The Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation was selected by Stephanie Gobczynski Uebinger and Leon Gobczynski as part of their recognition for being a 100 for Good® Champion.
“At State Farm, we are committed to helping build stronger communities,” says Stephanie Gobczynski Uebinger and Leon Gobczynski. “For us, it’s not enough to simply say we’re a Good Neighbor, we embrace the responsibility to make this community better by being a part of a solution.”
The Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation is thrilled to accept this donation to continue the life saving work associated with heart testing in our community. As the only heart testing non profit in the Effingham area, this testing is vitally important.
About 100 for Good
Giving back, doing good and being there when it counts are part of the State Farm culture. We started 100 for Good® to spread the Good Neighbor spirit throughout our neighborhoods by encouraging employees, agents, and community partners to log their Acts of Good and see the collective community impact. State Farm employees and agents have each been challenged to perform 100 Acts of Good by our 100th anniversary in June 2022.
About 100 for Good Champions
State Farm is celebrating our top 100 agents who have logged the most Acts of Good in 100 for Good®. To celebrate this accomplishment, we honored 100 for Good Champions, like Agents Leon Gobczynski and Stephanie Uebinger, as follows:
- Recognized 100 for Good Champions throughout internal State Farm communications
- Gave two $5,000 donations to a qualified nonprofit of the 100 for Good Champion’s choice
- Invited 100 for Good Champions to participate in a check presentation to the selected nonprofit
