Forsyth, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Investigators are releasing more information on the deadly holiday weekend crash in Forsyth.
Deputies responded to Illiniwick Drive Sunday afternoon, just before 2 p.m., where a pickup crashed after driving erratically and speeding. The driver, a 63-year-old female, was airlifted to Saint John’s Hospital in Springfield with critical, life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, now identified as 53-year-old Michael Spencer, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office says the driver was impaired and is being charged upon her release from the hospital.
