- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Mason W. Edinger of Effingham for an Effingham County problem solving court mittimus to jail sentence for 24 hours. Mason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Nicholas A. Gatewood of Altamont for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for possession of <5g of meth, sentenced to 20 weekends. Nicholas was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
September 6, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Shaun R. Tubbs of Effingham for using cancelled/revoked registration, driving while license revoked, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Shaun was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 50 year old Caroline A. Everett of Effingham for DUI drugs and unlawful possession of adult use cannabis by driver. Caroline was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Mitchell T. Ragland of Effingham for resisting/obstructing a police officer, a Sangamon County FTA warrant for domestic battery, and a Coles County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked. Mitchell was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 26 year old Jose M. Munoz of Altamont for DUI alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and illegal transportation of open alcohol by driver. Jose was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Ethan L. Neville of Sullivan for driving while license suspended. Ethan was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20 year old Jesse K. Smith of Edgewood for DUI alcohol, illegal possession of liquor by minor, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Jesse was given an NTA and was released.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Tiffany I. Brown of Watson for driving while license suspended. Tiffany was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 22 year old Kaleb J. Boggs of Effingham for DUI alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, failure to reduce speed, and improper lane usage. Kaleb was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 36 year old Brittany M. Whitehead of Toledo for possession of <5g of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brittany was given an NTA and was released.
