Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Food and Drug Administration says bottles of Clear Eyes Maximum Itchy Eye Relief are being voluntarily recalled over possible contamination.
According to the FDA, the recall involves point-five fluid ounce bottles distributed nationally by Medtech Products. The eye drops were sold at major retailers including CVS and Walmart. The recall began July 29th and is ongoing. The FDA cites “lack of assurance of sterility” as the reason for the voluntary recall.
