Du Quoin, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Two parents from Du Quoin are charged in the death of their one-year-old daughter. Amanda and Michael Russell face charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering the life or health of a child.
State police say officers were called out on Monday on a report of a child death in the 700 block of West Park Street in Du Quoin. The child suffered severe burns over a large portion of her body and hadn’t been taken to a medical facility for treatment.
