- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Travis M. Tarrant of Watson for an Effingham County problem solving court mittimus to jail, sentenced for 24 hours. Travis was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
August 23, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Jerry W. Quandt of Effingham for domestic battery. Jerry was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 29 year old Nathaniel T. Martin of Brownstown for driving while license suspended. Nathaniel was given an NTA and was released.
August 24, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Kenneth J. Pontious of Louisville for driving while license suspended. Kenneth was given an NTA and was released.
