Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- More than a million-and-a-half cartons of eggs are being recalled because of possible salmonella contamination.
The FDA says the voluntary recall was put out by Midwest Poultry Services for brown and white shell eggs. The eggs were sold under several brands in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Mississippi with labeling including Kroger, Brookshire’s, Country Morning, Simple Truth, and Sunups, along with a number of bulk Grade A and Grade AA egg cartons.
No illnesses have been reported.
