Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Ford’s recalling more than 387-thousand vehicles, due to a seatbelt issue.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the switch for the easy-entry second-row outer seats on certain Ford and Lincoln SUVs may stick. That could cause the seats to unlatch, tip, or slide unexpectedly, possibly causing injuries. Included in the recall are 2020-26 Ford Explorers and 2020-27 Lincoln Aviators. The automaker will notify owners this month and again in January, telling them to take their vehicles to the dealer for a free repair.
