Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Illinois’ unemployment rate remains steady. The state Department of Employment Security says the state’s jobless rate in April was five-point-one-percent, unchanged from March.
Non-farm payroll jobs increased by more than eleven-thousand last month.
