May 23, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Kelly D. Brown of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for 48 hours. Kelly was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Ronnie P. Harvey of Watson for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for 24 hours. Ronnie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 50 year old Pablo C. Medina Trujillo of Smyma, TN for driving while license suspended and speeding. Pablo was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26 year old Shawn M. Weiscope of Shumway for a Cumberland County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Shawn was given an NTA by Cumberland County and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Kimber R. Jackson of Shumway for domestic battery. Kimber was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Jade D. Peddycoart of Altamont for DUI alcohol. Jade was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 23 year old Nevin R. Prince of Effingham for disorderly conduct and pedestrian under the influence. Nevin was taken to the Effingham County Jail and is pending release.

- Effingham City Police arrested 56 year old James M. Kelly of Effingham for pedestrian under the influence. James was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 39 year old Darren Fox of Champaign for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Darren was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Luis Diaz-Rojas of Olney for operating a vehicle without valid Driver’s License, possession of open container in vehicle, and no valid registration. Luis was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Marques J. Lowe of Ava, MO for possession of <5g of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Marques was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 41 year old Andrea M. Koberlein of Effingham for DU alcohol and possession of open container in vehicle. Andrea was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 44 year old Nathan L. Willis of Kinmundy for driving while license suspended. Nathan was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 45 year old Joshua D. Arnold of Altamont for DU and improper lane usage. Joshua was given an NTA and was released.
