Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Slate Creek Apartments is now part of the Effingham County Chamber, bringing additional housing resources and independent living opportunities to the local community.
Located at 2301 S Veterans Drive in Effingham, Slate Creek is an affordable senior living community for adults ages 62 and older or disabled individuals under the age of 62 that require accommodations such as ADS accessibility features. The apartment community offers one-bedroom apartment homes with all utilities included and rent based on income.
Operated by Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF), Slate Creek Apartments features amenities including community gathering spaces, on-site laundry facilities, accessible apartment options, and planned resident activities. The property is designed to help residents maintain independence while enjoying an independent, yet supportive community atmosphere.
In addition to housing, Slate Creek works to provide residents with opportunities for social connection, wellness support, and access to community resources that enhance quality of life.
