
Louisville, IL-(Effingham Radio)- North Clay Unit 25 board members approved the amended fiscal year 2026 budget by a 6-to-0 vote following a hearing led by Superintendent Keith Price. The board also approved new handbook language allowing environmental sensors in high school and junior high restrooms and locker rooms to detect vaping, smoke, air quality concerns, tampering, and unusual noise.
Administrators reported summer projects are on schedule, including new high school flooring and doors, asbestos tile removal, playground redesign, painting, and added concrete parking. Online registration runs July 19th through 26th, with in-person registration July 22nd.
The board also renewed the Flora Public Library student card agreement and approved multiple personnel actions.
