Shumway, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Shumway Fire Protection District have been notified that 2 of the outdoor warning sirens (one on Holden Avenue, other on Nazarene Road) have quit working during the last round of storms. The sirens are beyond repair, so they are looking at replacements, but it could take weeks to replace.
The Shumway Fire Protection District want5ed residents to be aware in case severe weather arrives before they are replaced. If you have questions, call 217-868-5202.
