Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A dead father is still helping his son bowl from beyond the grave.
John Hinkle of Illinois told WMBD-TV he bowled a perfect game using a ball that contained his father’s ashes. Hinkle said the last couple of frames were emotional because his father was never able to score 300 points while he was alive.
Hinkle became a two-time NCAA bowling champion after his father introduced him to bowling at a young age.
