
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham announced the new Employee of teh Quarter at the bi-weekly City Council meeting Tuesday evening.

Jeremy Giles, Street/Sewer Foreman was recognized as the Employee of the Quarter!!
Jeremy has been the Street/Sewer Foreman for over 2 years and with the City for almost 16 years. Besides his daily duties, he was recognized for going above and beyond organizing a city-wide debris cleanup after the wind storms in July that greatly impacted our community. Thank you Jeremy for your hard work and dedication to the City of Effingham!
In other news from the meeting, the City Council looked at multiple liquor licenses and approved a change order for a City project.
