Brandon Moss hit his seventh home run of the year in the first inning and Stephen Piscotty doubled in two to cap a three-run seventh for St. Louis. The Cards took three-of-four in the series. Jerad Eickhoff pitched six-plus innings of three-run ball to fall to 1-4 with the loss. David Lough tripled off Jonathan Broxton in the eighth inning for Philadelphia’s only extra-base hit.
