- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Derek A. Britz of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail. Derek was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 51 year old John J. Wooters of Effingham for theft >$500. John was given a pretrial NTA.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Andrea E. Bruels of Watson for DUI alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol. Andrea was given a pretrial NTA.
May 5, 2024
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Timothy E. Neff of Salem for an IDOC warrant for failure to comply. Timothy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 20 year old Devonn A. Haston of Teutopolis for no Driver’s license on person, disobeying a police officer’s order, resisting a police officer, and no seat belt. Devonn was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Earl T. Prewitt of Dieterich for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated assault/use of a deadly weapon, and a Richland County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Earl was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
May 6, 2024
- Illinois State Police arrested 19 year old Ashtyn J. Ferguson of Vandalia for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, and possession of alcohol while under age 21. Ashtyn was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38 year old Rhiannon M. Thompson of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth and resisting a police officer. Rhiannon was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50 year old Lisa A. Young of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Lisa was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
