EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Matthew D. Jackson of Effingham for residential burglary, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting/obstructing a police officer. Matthew was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Samantha R. Matteson of Janesville, IL for an Effingham County FTA warrant for burglary. Samantha was released per judge’s orders.
- Effingham City Police arrested 67 year old Judy M. Brummerstedt of Effingham for criminal trespass to building. Judy was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 41 year old Michael N. Markham of East Frankfort, IL for DUI alcohol, speeding, and improper lane usage – crossing lane boundary unsafely. Michael was taken to the Effingham County Jail and is pending release.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49 year old Mark A. Duncan of Wheeler for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. Mark was given an NTA and was released.
