Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- It was another successful year at the Effingham County Fair, thanks to you.
After being at the fair all week, we raised a total of $709 for FISH to provide school supplies for children as the school year approaches. Karen Luchtefeld said they have supplied 200 students so far, ages ranging from Pre-K to 8th Grade. She said they have fully filled the Unit 40 list with supplies. She also mentioned that FISH has also provided vouchers for kids to get school shoes and underwear.
Thank you to everyone who spun the wheel to help FISH give school supplies to children in need. Also a huge shoutout to all our sponsors for the Effingham County Fair this year. This wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s involvement.
We look forward to another year at the fair in 2027!
