
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The number of measles cases continues to climb with latest figures showing there’s now more than two-thousand known cases in the U.S.
In all of last year there were a little more than 22-hundred cases. About six percent of the cases this year have resulted in hospitalization. There’s been no deaths.
The country is on pace to have its worst year for measles in decades. The CDC says there are 30 new outbreaks.
