Noon Rotarians Look At The History Of Effingham In Recent Meeting

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Members of the Effingham Noon Rotary Club went historic at a recent meeting.

Delaine Donaldson of the Effingham County Museum served as the guest speaker. Donaldson reviewed county history, as well as how the museum has been a tool to make more residents aware of that rich history.

The county museum, located in the former Effingham County Courthouse downtown, has celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The Rotary weekly student guest was Lydia Warner, daughter of Joe and Gail Warner and a senior at Effingham High School. Lydia plans to attend the University of Mississippi for Accounting with a minor in Intelligence and Security Studies in hopes of being a forensic accountant for the FBI.
