Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham would like to congratulate the three winners of our 1st annual City of Effingham Christmas Card Contest.
The city had over 30 entries to consider from several Effingham-area schools.
Our first-place winner, Lucy Monical, designed the Christmas card the city will use this year.
Lucy is in fourth grade at St. Anthony Grade School.
Our second-place winner is Tinley Patton.
Tinley is a third grader from Effingham.
Our third-place winner is Bella Schultz.
Bella is also in fourth grade at St. Anthony Grade School.
The winners were recognized at the December 7, 2021 City Council meeting. The city truly appreciates everyone who took the time to create and submit a card design. Our judges genuinely enjoyed looking at all the wonderful works of art and are looking forward to continuing this festive tradition next year!
