Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Effingham County Treasurer Deb Ruholl is pleased to announce the availability of the new Effingham County Official Drop Box for the convenient payment of the Effingham County real estate taxes.
The drop box is located in the parking lot north of the County Building at 101 N. 4th Street, Effingham, IL. “We are pleased to offer this additional payment option to the taxpayers of Effingham County. Our goal is to make paying real estate taxes as convenient and accessible as possible for our taxpayers.”
Taxpayers using the drop box are encouraged to make sure to include the appropriate tax stub and check in an envelope before placing in the drop box.
The new drop box is one of several options available to Effingham County taxpayers for paying their taxes.
