Effingham County, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A motorcycle crash occurred on 1100th Street at 225th Avenue in Mason Township. The driver, 21-year-old Christian R. Jockisch of Effingham, lost control while turning at high speed, ejecting both occupants onto the pavement.
The passenger, 18-year-old Gabriel A. Wert of Effingham, sustained incapacitating injuries. Both were transported to Saint Anthony’s Memorial Hospital by Rural Med EMS.
The driver was cited for operating without a license or valid registration and driving an uninsured vehicle.
