- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Hank W. Conard of Edgewood for domestic battery with 1-2 prior convictions and criminal damage to property. Hank was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
August 16, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Rodney D. Winter of Altamont for an Effingham County mittimus to jail sentenced to 15 consecutive weekends for DUI alcohol. Rodney was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 35 year old Christopher A. Greuel of Effingham for DUI alcohol and speeding. Christopher was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 54 year old Charles D. Stephens of West Salem for DUI alcohol and possession of alcohol in motor vehicle. Charles was taken to the Effingham County Jail and is pending release.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52 year old Clarence A. Kollman of Altamont for domestic battery. Clarence was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Steven R. Wolke of Sigel for domestic battery. Steven was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Trevor D. Johnson of Great Lakes, IL for domestic battery. Trevor was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Brenton R. Donaldson of Beecher City for disorderly conduct – misuse of 911. Brenton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Stephen A. Takacs of Tuscon, AZ for a McLean County FTA warrant for DUI alcohol. Stephen was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
