EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

August 1, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Shane M. Hall of Effingham for an Effingham County contempt of court charge. Shane was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Cambria G. Stevens of Fairview Heights for an Effingham County FTA warrant for revoked/suspended registration (Non-IL). Cambria was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 year old Early R. Forester of Toledo for theft <$500. Early was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Michael D. Calhoun of Altamont for DUI alcohol and improper lane usage. Michael was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Jake Ibrahim of Effingham for domestic battery, obstructing justice, and a Wisconsin warrant for probation violation. Jake was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

August 2, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Mason W. Edinger of Effingham for an Effingham County PSC warrant for 24 hour mittimus to jail. Mason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Blake A. Beavers of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for 10 weekends. Blake was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 41 year old James A. Walker of Effingham for criminal damage to state supported property. James was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Kayla R. Kortte of Effingham for DUI alcohol and improper turn signal. Kayla was given an NTA and was released.
Illinois State Police arrested 21 year old Serenity J. Traxler of Watson for DUI alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, and improper lighting. Serenity was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 19 year old Brooklynn A. Helfer of Effingham for domestic battery. Brooklynn was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 34 year old Daniel V. Tarris of Augusta, GA for attempted aggravated battery to a police officer, burglary, DUI alcohol, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Daniel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

August 3, 2026

Effingham City Police arrested 55 year old Kirby D. Buchanan of Herrick for pedestrian under the influence. Kirby was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 25 year old Kaleb A. Godert of Teutopolis for criminal trespass to real property. Kaleb was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
