EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

July 11, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Bruce D. Hay of Effingham for a Saline County FTA warrant for battery/physical contact, a Saline County FTA warrant for petition to revoke probation, and 2 counts of disorderly conduct. Bruce was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Ronnie P. Harvey, Jr. of Watson for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Ronnie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 69 year old Paul S. Ruffner of Effingham for failure to register as a sex offender. Paul was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Christopher N. Rowland of Zionsville, IN for burglary. Christopher was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Monticia L. Allen of Flora for a Clay County FTA warrant for domestic battery and interfering with a domestic violence report. Monticia was taken to the Clay County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Lizet Rodriguez of Effingham for domestic battery. Lizet was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

July 12, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37 year old Lenny Bone of Watson for failure to register as a sex offender. Lenny was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Harley T. Miller of Altamont for possession of weapon by felon. Harley was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

July 13, 2026

Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Devon R. Matlock of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and retail theft <$300. Devon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37 year old Dustin S. Cornell of Edgewood for failure to register as a sex offender. Dustin was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 69 year old David E. Mason of Bartonville, IL for an Effingham County FTA warrant for forgery. David was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 30 year old Krista E. L. Jones of Mt. Vernon for violating an order of protection. Krista was given an NTA and was released.
