July 4, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Louis D. Morris of Effingham for domestic battry and resisting/obstructing a police officer. Louis was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 49 year old Heather W. Brown of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal trespass to land. Heather was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 26 year old Yeslaidy Y. Vide Sanchez of Effingham for operating a vehicle with no valid license, operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance, and improper stop/turn signal. Yeslaidy was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 37 year old Gabrielle E. Phillips of Nashvillem, TN for driving while license suspended and speeding. Gabrielle was given an NTA and was released.
July 5, 2026
- Altamont Police arrested 53 year old Sherry L. Berg of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Sherry was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 64 year old Richey L. Harris of Effingham for DUI alcohol, driving while license revoked, and criminal trespass to real property. Richey was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 year old Alex M. Gier of Newton for DUI alcohol, DUI with BAC of .08, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Alex was given an NTA and was released.
July 6, 2026
- Illinois State Police arrested 67 year old Antonia Mitchell of Countryclub Hill, IL for an Effingham County warrant for speeding. Antonia posted bond and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 36 year old Kaneesha S. Warren of Memphis, TN for driving while license revoked and speeding. Kaneesha was given an NTA and was released.
