- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53 year old Todd J. Sweet of Chattanooga, TN for obstructing justice, obstructing identification, resisting/obstructing a police officer, unlawful possession of weapons by felon, unlawful display of fictitious registration, defacing or altering VIN, possession of a stolen vehicle, a US federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, and a Washington County (Utah) Communications Fraud >$5k (3 Counts) / Theft of Operable Motor Vehicle. Todd was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 48 year old Laura P. Sweet of Chattanooga, TN for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a stolen debit/credit card. Laura was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Donald P. Blades of Altamont for domestic battery. Donald was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Reese M. Pierce of Effingham for criminal damage to property, theft, and disorderly conduct. Reese was given an NTA and was released.
