EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL
June 13, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Gunner L. Landreth of Flora for a Clay County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Gunner was transferred to Clay County Jail.
- Altamont Police arrested 33 year old Trenton D. Morrison of Effingham for delivery of 15-100g of meth, possession of 15-100g of meth, and driving while license revoked. Trenton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old James L. Hardesty of Beecher City for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Clayton M. Crooker of Mason for operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident. Clayton was given an NTA and was released.
June 14, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Christina L. Belisle of Edgewood for possession of <5g of meth and an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated battery/use of a deadly weapon. Christina was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 31 year old Derik A. London of Iuka for unlawful possession of nitrous oxide, possession of 30-100g of cannabis, and unlawful possession of cannabis by passenger. Derik was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 22 year old Lucas A. Hurd of Louisville for DUI drugs, unlawful use of cannabis by driver, possession of 30-100g of cannabis, unlawful possession of nitrous oxide, and improper lane usage. Lucas was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 63 year old Calvin W. Mitchell of Chicago for driving while license suspended and speeding. Calvin was given an NTA and was released.

- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Zachary A. Dye of Effingham for domestic battery and unlawful restraint. Zachary was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 39 year old Francis A. Zogblah of Grenada, MS for speeding. Francis was given an NTA and was released.
