EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL
May 30, 2026
- Illinois State Police arrested 24 year old Zachery T. Spurlock of Morgantown, TN for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, unlawful possession of a weapon, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding, and no valid registration. Zachery was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Christina L. Belisle of Edgewood for an Edgar County FTA warrant for electronic harassment/threatening a person. Christina was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 37 year old Billy J. Cripe of Altamont for DUI drugs and driving on a suspended license. Billy was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 19 year old Trinity S. Shaffer of Effingham for DUI drugs and driving with only one headlight. Trinity was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 26 year old Jonathon W. Koester of Effingham for DUI alcohol, failure to dim headlights, transportation/possession of open alcohol by driver, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Jonathon was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 21 year old Lilly E. Mathis of Effingham for aggravated battery, resisting a police officer, and disorderly conduct. Lilly was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 36 year old James R. Flaczynski of Wolverhampton, EN for DUI alcohol, transportation/possession of open alcohol by driver, speeding, and improper lane usage. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Adam J. Pipkins of Louisville for a Clay County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Adam was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Altamont Police arrested 19 year old Berry J. Doss of Effingham for criminal damage to property. Berry was given an NTA and was released.
June 1, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 19 year old Rahim C. Anderson of Effingham for cyberstalking, stalking, and harassment through electronic communications. Rahim was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Samuel J. Sarver of Effingham for aggravated domestic battery and aggravated assault. Samuel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Altamont Police arrested 29 year old Dakota M. Curry of Altamont for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and domestic battery. Dakota was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
