EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL
May 28, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Barry E. Russell of Effingham for violation of pretrial conditions and resisting/obstructing a police officer. Barry was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 30 year old Kariana C. McKinney of Los Angeles, CA for fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, speeding, and improper lane usage. Kariana was taken to the Effingham County Jail and is pending release.
- Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Timothy L. Wease of Newton for DUI alcohol and 3 counts of endangering the life or health of a child. Timothy was given an NTA and was released.
