EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

February 14, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Alexander J. Garrard of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth and retail theft. Alexander was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Joseph P. Sullivan of Effingham for criminal damage to property. Joseph was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 22 year old Matthew D. Bowers of Effingham for driving while license suspended. Matthew was given an NTA and was released.

February 15, 2026

Effingham City Police arrested 60 year old John E. Klein of Effingham for domestic battery. John was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Ava D. Scott of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for theft $500-$10k, and a Tazewell County FTA warrant for aggravated battery to a police officer. Ava was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Samuel J. Schultz of Watson for reckless driving, failure to remain at scene of an accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, and improper lane usage. Samuel was given an NTA and was released.
Altamont Police arrested 36 year old Hank W. Conard of Edgewood for aggravated domestic battery (two counts), domestic battery, and battery. Hank was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Altamont Police arrested 18 year old Jaci M. Waters of Altamont for illegal consumption by minor. Jaci was given an NTA and was released.
Altamont Police arrested 19 year old Austin B. Harris of Altamont for illegal consumption by a minor. Austin was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 38 year old Cory N. Zellers of Effingham for DUI alcohol and driving while license revoked. Cory was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

February 16, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 year old Ethan G. Robertson of Watson for possession of a stolen vehicle, theft $500-$10k, no valid Driver’s License, underage consumption of alcohol, and leaving the scene of an accident. Ethan was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 56 year old Ronald M. Apke of Montrose for DUI and disobeying a traffic control device. Ronald was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Bradley D. Bloemer of Neoga for DUI, improper lane usage, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Bradley was given an NTA and was released.
Illinois State Police arrested 29 year old Alette Williamson of Springfield for driving while license suspended and speeding. Alette was given an NTA and was released.
