EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL
January 17, 2026
- Altamont Police arrested 29 year old Nathan M. Beccue of Altamont for a Fayette County FTA warrant for obstructing identification. Nathan posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Jesus Dahie Lopez Lopez of Effingham for speeding 35mph over limit, operating a vehicle with no valid license, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Jesus was given an NTA and was released.
January 18, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 year old Jace J. McWhorter of St. Elmo for aggravated domestic battery. Jace was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26 year old Keith M. Rogers of Effingham for 4 counts of cyberstalking, 4 counts of harassment through electronic communication, and 2 counts of indecent solicitation of a child. Keith was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38 year old Allen G. Matlock of Effingham for domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Allen was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37 year old Christine E. Taylor of St. Elmo for pedestrian under the influence. Christine was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
January 19, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 24 year old Ailyssa P. Lewis of Effingham for retail theft. Ailyssa was given an NTA and was released.
