EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Mason D. Edinger of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail sentenced for 48 hours. Mason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 22 year old Macy L. Williams of Fort wayne, IN for driving while license suspended. Macy was given an NTA and was released.
January 4, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 50 year old Billie J. Guthrie of Effingham for retail theft. Billie was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 25 year old Srinivas G. Kilari of Hamilton, CT for speeding 35mph over limit, improper lane usage, and failure to signal. Srinivas was given an NTA and was released.
