January 13, 2024
- Altamont Police arrested 59 year old Charles A. Beavers of Altamont for aggravated arson and possession of <5g of meth. Charles was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Corey G. Powell of Newton for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, disobeying a traffic control device, failure to reduce speed, and improper lane usage. Corey was given an NTA and was released.
January 14, 2024
- Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Akylia C. Robertson of McLanesboro, IL for possession of meth. Akylia was given a pretrial NTA.
- Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Brandon S. Cook of Effingham for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. Brandon was given a pretrial NTA.
- Effingham City Police arrested 65 year old Judy M. Brummerstedt of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal trespass. Judy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 48 year old Jeramy C. Hoffman of Effingham for a Cumberland County FTA warrant for possession of meth. Jeramy was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
January 15, 2024
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20 year old Bryant S. Sidwell of Watson for illegal consumption by a minor. Bryant was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Jesse J. R. Treat of Dieterich for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Jesse was given an NTA and was released.
