- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Kaleb A. Godert of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA no bond warrant. Kaleb was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
December 31, 2023
- Effingham City Police arrested 34 year old Cierra N. Helmbacher of Watson for reckless conduct, possession of adult use cannabis by driver, DUI drugs, unsafe equipment, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident. Cierra was given a pretrial NTA.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Joshua P. Tanner of Charleston for an Effingham County FTA warrant for DUI alcohol. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 35 year old Omar E. Porter of Peoria for a Peoria County FTA warrant for habitual criminal and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Omar was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
January 1, 2024
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Kenneth A. Laws of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug windshield violation, and driving while license suspended. Kenneth was released on a pretrial NTA.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Rodney D. Winter of Altamont for DUI alcohol. Rodney was released on a pretrial NTA.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Luis Blanco of Effingham for DUI alcohol, improper lighting, and no valid Driver’s License. Luis was released on a pretrial NTA.
