November 11, 2023
- Effingham City Police arrested 30 year old Yashmine R. Slack of Alton for obstructing ID and a Fayette County FTA warrant for speeding. Yashmine was given a pretrial NTA and posted bond for the Fayette County charge.
- Effingham City Police arrested 36 year old James R. Mayhew of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA/FTP warrant for operating an uninsured vehicle. James posted bond and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 34 year old Samuel J. Yim of Prospect Heights, IL for possession of a look-a-like controlled substance. Samuel was given a pretrial NTA.
- Altamont Police arrested 59 year old Charles A. Beavers of Altamont for possession of <5g of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles was given a pretrial NTA.
November 12, 2023
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Jeffrey J. Handy of Virden for an Effingham County FTA warrant for forgery/deliver document. Jeffrey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Jacob Skavlem of Effingham for aggravated fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, and speeding 35mph+ over limit. Jacob was given a pretrial NTA.
