- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Jackie Nichols of Mattoon for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Jackie was released on ROR.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Josh W. Tate of Casey for an Effingham County FTA warrant for domestic battery. Josh was released on ROR.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Derek Britz of Altamont for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to register as a violent offender. Derek was given an NTA.
September 24, 2023
- Effingham City Police arrested 41 year old Theresa R. Alchinger of Effingham for retail theft <$300. Theresa was given an NTA and was released.
- Altamont Police arrested 20 year old Justice A. Beck of Altamont for domestic battery, aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting a police officer, and possession of a controlled substance. Justice was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Ryan L. Hack of Casey for retail theft. Ryan was given an NTA and was released.
September 25, 2023
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52 year old Michael Thompson of Effingham for DUI alcohol and unlawful damage to roadway. Michael was given an NTA and was released.
