August 5, 2023

  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Jason Niemeyer of Beecher City for a Fayette County FTA warrant for driving on a revoked/suspended license for DUI. Jason posted bond and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Bradley Bennet of Effingham for aggravated robbery. Bradley was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27 year old Lesly Flack Smith of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA/FTP warrant for driving while license suspended. Lesly posted bond and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Aaron Baker for failure to register as a sex offender. Aaron was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Illinois State Police arrested 37 year old Tyler Stewart of Flora for a Fayette County attachment for contempt. Tyler was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Altamont Police arrested 27 year old Lisa Kaufman of Shumway for aggravated DUI, resisting, and child endangerment. Lisa was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 55 year old Dew Dauherty of Effingham for DUI and improper lane usage. Dew was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

August 6, 2023

  • Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Dale T. Davis of Effingham for violation of violent offender registration. Dale was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 40 year old Brandon T. Houser of Effingham for aggravated battery. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 49 year old Michelle L. Brown of Effingham for domestic battery. Michelle was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

August 7, 2023

  • Effingham City Police arrested 24 year old Melody R. Whalin of Effingham for a Fayette County warrant and driving while license suspended. Melody posted bond and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Jason J. Suckow of Mason for DUI and improper operation of an ATV. Jason posted bond and was released.
