EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

March 18, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old William Guthery of Effingham for domestic battery and interfering with a domestic report. William was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Daniel Gibson of Vandalia for a Coles County warrant for retail theft and a Coles County warrant for leaving the scene of an accident. Daniel posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Roberta Ballinger of Altamont for an Effingham County warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Roberta posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cheyenne Haxton for a Fayette County FTA warrant for misconduct/obtain personal advantage. Cheyenne posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Dalton Ard of Effingham for a mittimus to jail. Dalton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20 year old Tyler Koonce of Charleston for driving while license suspended. Tyler posted bond and was released.

March 19, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Keith Wiseman of Shumway for disorderly conduct – misuse of 911. Keith was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Illinois State Police arrested 29 year old Christopher Budds of Kinmundy for possession of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance. Christopher was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Illinois State Police arrested 48 year old Terry Mette of Effingham for DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver. Terry posted bond and was released.

March 20, 2023

• Illinois State Police arrested 34 year old Derrick Anderson of Buffalo, NY for cannabis trafficking, delivery/possession with intent to deliver >5000g cannabis, possession of >5000g of cannabis, reckless driving, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Derrick was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Illinois State Police arrested 34 year old Eric Hemphill of Buffalo, NY for cannabis trafficking, delivery/possession with intent to deliver >5000g of cannabis, possession of >5000g of cannabis, and possession of adult cannabis out of container by passenger. Eric was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 47 year old Jeramy Hoffman of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for retail theft/disposing of merchandise >$300. Jeramy posted bond and was released.
• Illinois State Police arrested 36 year old Richard Garza of Effingham for driving while license suspended, expired registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Richard posted bond and was released.
