EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

March 15, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 66 year old Dennis C. Houghton of Watson for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked. Dennis posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Jeff Hopper of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for retail theft. Jeff was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Dustin Bowman of Mason for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license suspended. Dustin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Miranda Davis of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Miranda was given an NTA and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50 year old Chatez L. Long of Champaign for an Effingham County original warrant for burglary and retail theft, and an Effingham County original warrant for 3 counts of burglary. Chatez was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 63 year old David E. Rhoades of Peoria for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving on a revoked license (3rd). David was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
