EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

February 11, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Brayden A. Mapes of Carbondale for a Williamson County FTA warrant for failure to obtain license after it was revoked, DUI, expired registration sticker, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Brayden posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Michael A. May of Effingham for an Effingham County attachment for contempt. Michael posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Rebecca L. Burnside of Montrose for a Putnam County, FL warrant for violation of probation and forgery of checks. Rebecca was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Cheyenne M. Easley of Altamont for battery. Cheyenne posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Andrew M. Wilkins of Watson for DUI, driving while license revoked, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Andrew posted bond and was released.
• Effingham City Police arrested 35 year old Megan B. Kraft of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for violating an order of protection. Megan posted bond and was released.
• Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Carlos I. Vizcaino for criminal damage to property, resisting a police officer, and criminal trespass to a vehicle. Carlos was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33 year old Brandon M. Riech of St. Peter for possession of a stolen license plate. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

February 12, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Ronald M. Bruce of Effingham for lack of license plate light and driving while license revoked. Ronald was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Corey J. Fellows of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for accumulation of garbage/junk and an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal trespass to land. Corey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Illinois State Police arrested 44 year old Joseph F. Jarmon of Salem, WV for a Broomfield, CO FTA warrant for sexual assault. Joseph was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 year old Mallorie E. Askew of Effingham for DUI alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, and failure to signal when required. Mallorie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 40 year old Brandon A. Poe of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving an uninsured vehicle. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 56 year old Todd F. Paralusz of Cambridge, Canada for retail theft. Todd was given an NTA and was released.

February 13, 2023

• Illinois State Police arrested 37 year old Rafael D. Edwards of Chicago for speeding 20-35mph over the speed limit, unlawful use of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession of cannabis by a driver. Rafael was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 18 year old Cameron L. Chasteen of Effingham for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Cameron was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Altamont Police arrested 20 year old Erin T. Hannagan of Altamont for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, domestic battery, and disorderly conduct. Erin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
