EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

- Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Joshua R. Verdeyen of Effingham for violating an order of protection (3 counts), driving while license suspended, and resisting. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Altamont Police arrested 52 year old Richard M. Chambers of Altamont for a Sangamon County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Richard posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Ashley L. Ohlund of Effingham for possession of 5-15g of meth, delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle with suspended registration. Ashley was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 41 year old Christina L. Belisle of Effingham for domestic battery. Christina was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 19 year old Kiara L. Hemrich of Altamont for DUI alcohol, transportation or possession of open alcohol by driver, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Kiara posted bond and was released.
